We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team at Butler Rose. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Department with month-end closures, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Month-end closures, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Report on accruals and prepayments
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and budgeting
• Support with audits
• Provide support and cover for Sales and Purchase Ledger colleagues when required

To be successful in this role, you will have had previous exposure to the above duties and possess strong Excel skills, including SUMIFs, LOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables. Working towards an Accountancy qualification is advantageous, although qualified-by-experience candidates will also be considered.

This is a full-time, office-based role with occasional work from home. The holiday entitlement is generous, and increasing with length of service, rewarding longevity.
