About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Principal Examiner to join our team at Pearson, responsible for ensuring the high standards of our GCSE English Language qualification.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the standards of the qualification, overseeing the standardisation of examiners, and ensuring that the assessment criteria are met.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in education, preferably in English Language, and experience in quality assurance and assessment practice.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to provide and coordinate training, and have a comprehensive knowledge of the GCSE English Language specification.
