Job Description:

Caged Tigers South Ltd is seeking an exceptional Automation Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a vital role in delivering new test capabilities to the manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automated production test development, from software module coding and test sequencing to physical jig design and fabrication.

You will work closely with the engineering team during product development to understand and influence design decisions, ensuring a smooth transition into the manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include designing and delivering automated manufacturing test facilities for new product developments, enhancing existing facilities to optimize effectiveness, generating controlled documentation, conducting statistical evaluation, advising product development engineers, and developing new testing methodologies.

The successful candidate will possess a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, experience in testing electronics/RF/Fibre sub-systems in a manufacturing environment, skills in test code development and sequencing, and understanding of software and firmware version control.
