Senior Application Support Engineer (Linux SQL)

Client Server Ltd. is seeking a skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our Linux SQL applications.

About the Role

This is a senior, hands-on role that requires excellent technical skills and a strong understanding of Linux OS, networking technologies, and SQL commands. You will work closely with our development team to resolve production issues and client integration tickets, and will be responsible for releasing your own code and system changes into production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux SQL applications
  • Work closely with the development team to resolve production issues and client integration tickets
  • Release your own code and system changes into production
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS
  • Good understanding of networking technologies
  • Ability to write SQL commands, MySQL experience a plus
  • Ability to script or code with any programming language, Perl or bash a plus
  • Collaborative and excellent client and customer service skills
  • BSc Computer Science degree or similar technical discipline
