LARS Communications Limited is a pioneering company in the manufacture and installation of radio and radar infrastructure. Our CE/UKCA certified workshop specializes in fabricating a wide range of towers, structures, and ancillary steelwork.

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our busy workshop team. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to weld to BS EN 9606-1 standards and maintain CE marking standards (EN 1090). A current, clean driving license is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weld tests to ensure compliance with EN 9606-1 standards.
  • Read and interpret detailed design CAD drawings.
  • Fabricate steelwork that meets client specifications under the direction of the Fabrication Manager, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Adhere to processes to produce fabrications in line with EN1090 Execution Class 2.
  • Perform climbing duties as required for measurement and site assessments.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in the workshop.
  • Oversee the maintenance of workshop machinery and report any defects promptly.
  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of colleagues at all times.

Salary Information: We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
