Taxation Specialist

At Stanton House, we are seeking a skilled Reporting Accountant to join our team in the beverage industry. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office in Maidenhead, offering a great opportunity to learn and progress in a well-established and successful business.

This role is responsible for the reporting activities relating to the holding company and legacy companies, as well as the compilation and filing of the statutory accounts for the UK entities. You will be a support and backup as and when required, reporting to the Finance Manager.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

1. Statutory Accounts preparation and filing for UK entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal key controls.
2. Tax coordination, working with internal and external advisors to meet internal and external tax requirements.
3. Audit collaboration, working with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal key controls.
4. Regular review and communication of policies and procedures to enable regulatory and statutory requirements to be met.

Qualifications for this role include:

1. Accountancy qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 2-3 years post-qualified experience.
2. Knowledge of IFRS and a good level of Tax knowledge.
3. Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure on own initiative.
4. Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. SAP R/3 experience is desirable.
