About the Opportunity

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Fellow to join our Microbiology & Infection team at NHS Professionals Limited. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to provide expert advice and guidance on microbiology and infection-related matters.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide clinical microbiology and infection consultations, including liaison and advice to healthcare professionals.
  2. Participate in daily infection ward rounds and MDTs (Multidisciplinary Team meetings).
  3. Authorise laboratory reports, ensuring accurate and timely results are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Person Specification:
  • Essential qualifications include MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical qualification, Full GMC registration, and evidence of completion of CMT or equivalent.
  • Desirable qualifications include MRCP or equivalent, General medicine experience, and Infection/microbiology related qualification, e.g., Diploma in Medical Microbiology, MSc in Microbiology, DTM&H.

With a salary range of £39,896 - £51,668 per annum, depending on experience, we offer a competitive remuneration package that reflects your skills and qualifications.
