**Job Description**

This exciting opportunity is for a Decontamination Specialist to join our Operations Department, working closely with our field-based teams to ensure our services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for installing, repairing, validating, and maintaining decontamination equipment, providing technical support, and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient installation, repair, validation, and maintenance of vacuum sterilisers, washer disinfectors, and autoclaves in dental decontamination rooms.
  • Conduct thorough pressure vessel inspections on autoclaves and verify compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Offer expert technical support and troubleshooting to customers and colleagues, ensuring seamless resolution of issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, driving sales and securing service contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and invoices issued.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and best practices at all times.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Decontamination Engineer or similar role in the medical field.
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to complex situations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
  • A willingness to travel to different locations, with a valid driver's license.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.

**Estimated Salary:** £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
