Principal Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a leader in design and engineering, our client is a renowned design consultancy based in London or Surrey, working on prestigious and innovative projects in the UK and across the world.

About the Role

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our Director and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction support.

You will have a good working knowledge of UK mechanical building services design, including relevant standards, codes, and regulations. Your technical expertise and resourcefulness will be essential in managing the technical, cost, and programme elements of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions
  • Work closely with our Director and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage the technical, cost, and programme elements of project delivery
  • Have a good working knowledge of UK mechanical building services design
