Job Description: Clinical Director

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Mental Health Care Manager to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate. This prestigious mental health hospital provides emergency admissions services across two acute wards, with round-the-clock medical cover available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management and functioning of housekeeping, hospitality, HSE, infection control, and Fire Regulation guidelines, all while working within allocated budgets.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience at Senior Management level, including managing change initiatives.
  • A solid understanding of Rehabilitation Approach principles and their effective application.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with budgets, utilizing financial and activity data to inform service management decisions.
  • A proven track record of setting, monitoring, and evaluating high-quality care standards.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting reports at senior management level.
  • Able to set therapeutic boundaries with patients exhibiting challenging behaviors, requiring advanced interventions for effective de-escalation.
  • Experience working with patients within neuropsychiatric units or those with complex physical health needs.

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
