About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Telesales Professional to join our sales team. As a Telesales Professional, you will be responsible for engaging potential business customers over the phone, promoting our products or services, and converting leads into appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to generate sales leads and promote our products or services.
- Present our company's offerings in a compelling and professional manner, effectively communicating the value and benefits to potential customers.
- Build and maintain a strong knowledge base of our products or services to answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or objections.
- Utilize persuasive selling techniques to influence customer decision-making and secure sales.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, including call logs, sales activities, and follow-up actions, in our CRM system.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets and performance metrics as set by the sales manager.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share insights, feedback, and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in telesales, inside sales, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Experience of working within telecoms and IT sales is essential.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers, build rapport, and articulate product features and benefits.
- Persuasive and confident in making sales pitches, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using CRM systems or other sales-related software for tracking customer interactions and managing sales pipelines.
- Good computer literacy, including familiarity with MS Office and the ability to navigate online resources.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
What We Offer:
Opportunity to earn additional money through commission by hitting targets and booking appointments, free onsite parking, £20,000-£30,000 per annum pro rata, progression to different sales roles with increased benefits, and 21 days holiday leave (plus bank holidays) pro rata.
