About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Tropical Fisheries Advocate to join our team at South West International Development Network. As a key member of our advocacy team, you will be responsible for promoting the rights of small-scale fishers and advocating for ocean protection.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to create engaging content that resonates with our target audience. You will also have experience in working with communities and organizations to promote their rights and interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the rights of small-scale fishers through social media and other digital platforms
  • Advocate for ocean protection and sustainable fisheries management
  • Work with communities and organizations to promote their rights and interests
  • Monitor and report on the impact of our advocacy activities

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
