We are seeking an experienced Systems Modelling Engineer and People Manager to lead our RF Seeker Modelling and Performance team.

Using model-based systems engineering processes, and auto-coding techniques, you will rapidly iterate the design and achieve the required performance of the Seeker. The successful candidate will be responsible for modelling in MATLAB and Simulink using model-based design techniques, managing a complex Seeker model including simulation of the RF environment, Seeker hardware, and processor algorithms.

You will also be involved in task package management, development of algorithms within the model, interacting with a wide network of customers across multiple domains, producing and verifying auto-code for the software algorithms from the model, managing system studies and performance analysis, ownership of processes and model deliverables, and facilitating team development in modelling practices and algorithm design.

In addition, you will assess system performance through the models against the requirements and ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of MATLAB and Simulink, as well as experience in Verification & Validation, configuration control, and model release processes.

The role requires good communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as data analysis and technical report writing capabilities. A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience is also desirable, along with the ability to achieve the appropriate level of security clearance (SC).

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a range of benefits including company bonus, pension, overtime opportunities, flexible leave, enhanced parental leave, and facilities such as subsidised meals and free car parking.
