Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Support: Provide first-level HR and organizational development advice to support workforce changes and ensure they align with our company policies.
  • Employee Engagement: Assist HR Business Partners in implementing HR interventions to boost employee engagement and performance.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations queries and case work, ensuring adherence to our company procedures.
  • Workforce Planning: Contribute to workforce planning by analyzing needs and developing solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Training and Development: Support the training, learning, and development needs of employees to achieve our company priorities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with management teams to ensure HR processes are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Project Participation: Participate in HR and organizational development projects aimed at improving the HR service and developing our company as a great place to work.
  • Union Relations: Foster good working relationships with Trade Union representatives to resolve workplace disputes effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of HR activities and ensure compliance with agreed procedures.
  • Policy Development: Research and develop HR policies that meet organizational and legislative requirements.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Membership: Member of CIPD (Post-grad level qualified or working towards).
  • People Management: Strong understanding of people management policy and practice, with experience advising managers.
  • HR Policy Development: Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and conducting training needs analysis.
  • Workforce Planning: Understanding of workforce planning principles and equality issues in the workplace.
  • HR Data Analysis: Proficient in interpreting and presenting HR data for decision-making and using digital solutions to improve performance.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly.
