About the Role

Our client, OBM People, is a leading provider of integrated infrastructure solutions. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving progress across multiple departments, ensuring projects are executed in alignment with company policies, processes, and objectives.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead projects in a construction environment, leveraging your expertise in project controls, including planning, monitoring, and reviewing schedules and costs. You will also have line management responsibilities for other Project Managers within the team and support the Head of Projects in areas of development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Lead and mentor Project Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Contribute to the development of project management processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • HND in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • Formal project management qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects in a construction environment.
  • Experience in project controls, including planning, monitoring, and reviewing schedules and costs.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.
