We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Family Support and Protection team in South Essex. As a Social Worker, you will work with families to promote sustainable change and provide support to children and their families.
About the Role:- Work with families on Child in Need and Child Protection plans to promote sustainable change.
- Develop strong relationships with families using systemic and strengths-based social work approaches.
- Engage with diverse groups of individuals and develop a rapport with them.
- Work with partners, other agencies, and the local community to achieve joint objectives and offer a supportive framework for children and families.
- Deliver value for money interventions balanced against need.
- Make clear decisions to highlight and limit potential risks associated with intervention.

Requirements:- A recognised social work qualification, such as a Diploma, degree, or Masters in social work, with current registration with Social Work England as a registered social worker.
- Evidence of continuing professional development, aligned to any relevant Professional Competency/Capability frameworks or Knowledge and Skills Statements.
- Experience within a social work setting with evidence of challenging social and family situations.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to develop a rapport and engage with diverse groups of individuals.
- Ability to work within given timescales and make clear decisions to highlight and limit potential risks associated with intervention.
