We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a SEND Teaching Assistant at one of our partner schools in Harrow. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special educational needs.
About the RoleThis is a full-time role in term-time, with sociable hours and a rewarding nature. You will be working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEND. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing academic and social support to students with SEND
- Implementing skills and strategies developed in the classroom
- Leading extracurricular sessions or 1:1 sessions with children outside of the classroom
- Developing your skills and expertise in supporting students with SEND
We offer a competitive daily rate of up to £105 (including holiday pay) and paid weekly via PAYE. You will also receive full safeguarding training and guidance on role expectations before starting. Our team is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all staff and students.
