About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Meadowcroft School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in the delivery of educational programs and activities
  • Support students with SEMH needs in a classroom and outdoor setting
  • Prepare learning materials and participate in classroom activities
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to achieve student outcomes
Requirements
  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs and in a school setting
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
