Exciting Opportunity for a Design and Pre-Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Design/Pre-Construction Manager to lead projects in the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sector. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of cutting-edge projects across the Newcastle region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design and pre-construction phases for a range of M&E projects, ensuring optimal project delivery.
  2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to drive project success.
  3. Manage the coordination of M&E services, ensuring compliance with regulations and technical requirements.
  4. Develop cost-effective solutions and support the preparation of bids and tenders.
  5. Ensure smooth handover of projects from design to construction phase.
  6. Lead a team of engineers, designers, and estimators to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in design and pre-construction management within the M&E sector.
  2. Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  3. Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  5. Familiarity with the Newcastle region and UK construction standards.
