Year 6 Teacher Opportunity

Step Teachers is partnering with a primary school in Brent to find a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team in September 2024. This school focuses on fostering students' self-awareness, self-worth, and self-assurance, creating a respectful, friendly, and secure learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to a group of well-mannered and driven primary school children.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement the school's policies and procedures reliably.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent experience as a Year 6 Teacher – Key Stage 2.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • Have experience teaching History as a subject.
