Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Oxendon House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, drinking, and mobility.
  • Support residents with their medication and healthcare needs.
  • Encourage residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Contribute to the creation of a warm and welcoming environment that promotes dignity and respect.
Requirements:
  • Willingness to study towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
