About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Continuity Team, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of digital engineering solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment of digital engineering tools and platforms to meet business requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of digital engineering solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Configure digital engineering tools to optimize performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for transformation using digital engineering solutions.
  • Develop strategies to enhance product development processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of digital engineering solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the transformation process.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on digital engineering solutions.
  • Ensure that solutions meet the highest quality standards and performance criteria.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on PLM systems and business transformation.
  • Strong understanding of PLM concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with Agile and SAFe project methodologies.
  • Defence contract: SC or higher security (currently holding or eligible)
  • Defence contract: Must Hold a UK Passport, cannot be Dual National

Desirable Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certification in TOGAF, PMP, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency with PLM software (ideally Siemens tools such as Teamcenter, NX, Capital)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.

Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
