About the Role

This HR Officer position at Grove Academy is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with a focus on policy and procedure management, employee relations, and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior leaders with recruitment administration, including liaison with agencies, shortlisting, and interviews
  • Work closely with line managers to ensure they understand and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations, absence, and performance
  • Manage policy procedures, ensuring fair processes are followed and maintaining confidentiality
  • Produce employee letters and contracts, as well as liaison with the payroll team
  • Provide HR statistical information and reports as required
  • Ensure effective and timely management of employee-related issues
  • Assist with personnel audits and maintain up-to-date HR systems

Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all matters, displaying appropriate judgment and initiative when required
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, and decision-making skills
  • Previous HR experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • An adaptable team player, willing to learn and take on new challenges
  • Strong administration skills, including working at pace and dealing with changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, and Excel
