Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Anaesthetics Practitioner to join our team at Stonor Medical in Central London. As a key member of our anaesthetics department, you will be responsible for managing the team, overseeing theatre operations, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of the anaesthetics team and theatre operations.
  • Oversight of patient care and ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
  • Assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality pre, peri, and post-operative care.
  • Effective management of resources to support patient care.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in a UK operating theatre setting with proven clinical reasoning skills.
  • ILS (Immediate Life Support) or ALS (Advanced Life Support) qualification.
  • A valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) pin with no restrictions.
