About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Cygnet Broughton House. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for residents
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
