About the Role:
The Manufacturing Inspector will be responsible for conducting quality inspections and packing specifications of laminated (foiled) products. Key responsibilities include carrying out relevant quality checks and inspections, segregating non-conforming products from good production, and communicating information via designated channels.
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out relevant quality checks/inspections on assigned products as per product quality plan requirements.
- Segregate all non-conforming products from good production.
- Communicate information via relevant communication channels.
- Record required information for checking/inspection operations as per company works instructions/procedures.
- Alert relevant personnel to process and product concerns.
- Agree and complete training and development requirements determined by Shift Co-ordinator and training plan.
- Safeguard property issued by the company.
- Carry out continual visual quality inspections as per product quality plan and procedure.
- Perform specific quality checks/tests as per product quality plan.
- Pack laminated (foiled) products in accordance with packing specification stated on production schedule.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and adherence to housekeeping procedures associated with tasks.
- Transfer knowledge and skills among team members.
- Undertake reasonable duties as and when required.
- Adhere to organisational policies, management systems, and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities related to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Represent the organisation in a positive manner to avoid damage to corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
- Promote and Display Epwin Core Values.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Telford – Hortonwood.
