About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-time Psychology Lecturer to join our team at North Hertfordshire College. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for teaching and learning to contribute to the development of our students.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Psychology, with experience of delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and providing pastoral support to students. You will also have the opportunity to participate in curriculum development and contribute to the college's commitment to equality and diversity.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £43,500 FTE, depending on experience, as well as a contributory pension scheme and a range of other benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students, including lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
  • To assess student progress and provide pastoral support to students, including guidance on academic and personal issues.
  • To participate in curriculum development and contribute to the college's commitment to equality and diversity.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve college objectives and improve student outcomes.
