Job Title: Cost Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor to join our Newcastle Real Estate team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in guiding our clients and their professional teams on exciting and iconic projects across the Northeast.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission Management: Assist in feasibility studies, write procurement reports, estimate and cost plan, tender and procure, manage post-contract cost variances, and negotiate final accounts.
  • Cost Planning: Produce and present the final cost plan, manage the pre-qualification stage, and ensure timely and accurate cost checking and valuation.
  • Value Engineering: Input into value engineering and ensure the best solutions from a qualitative and commercial perspective.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) and degree or HNC level qualification.
