We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Childcare and Welfare Specialist to join our team at Polaris Community. This casual role offers the flexibility to work hours you can commit to without contractual obligation.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with challenging young people, although this is not essential. You will be required to hold a full manual driving license and be willing to work towards a fully funded qualification in level 3 Children and Young People (or already qualified).

About the Role:

This casual position allows you to work on a flexible basis, with no contractual obligation. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts as and when needed, including sleep-ins when required, which attract a £36 per night allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in daily record-keeping and contribute to maintaining accurate records

Salary Details:

The salary for this role is competitive, with unqualified candidates receiving £12.79 per hour and qualified candidates receiving £13.11 per hour plus additional payments for sleep-in shifts. Based in Bristol, this position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
