7.5T Driver Job Description

We're seeking a skilled 7.5T driver to join our team at HSS Hire Beckton. As a permanent, full-time driver, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to our clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections using our smartphone app.
  • Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Drive company vehicles responsibly and safely, adhering to traffic laws and the highway code.
  • Represent HSS Hire and its values, providing professional support and assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • A valid 7.5T license (Category C1) and a valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve complex customer inquiries.
  • Knowledge of safe loading and transporting of hazardous goods.
  • Demonstrate compliance with manual handling regulations.
