About the Role

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco, you will be the face of our company, delivering exceptional customer service to our valued customers. You will be responsible for delivering customer shopping trips, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver customer shopping trips in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Ensure that the van and trays are clean and organized, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Load and unload merchandise, taking care to handle products with care.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, explaining any changes to their order and offering refunds where necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license with at least 12 months' experience and no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A strong commitment to customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
