Job Summary

Seeking Support Workers - Portishead, North Somerset

Our Support Worker role could be a great match for you if you have a willingness to learn, flexibility, a can-do attitude, and a desire to help someone live a full life.

The support you provide will be centered around each person's values, preferences, and needs, which could include developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care, and medication needs.

We have a range of flexible shifts available in Portishead to accommodate full or part-time working - 10am to 8pm, 8am to 5pm, 10am to 4pm, 10am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 5pm to 10pm.

We can also offer weekend roles.

A full UK driving license is needed for these roles.

Your responsibilities:

  • To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead
  • To develop daily living skills
  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialization, employment, training, or friendships
  • To contribute to, develop, and implement the individuals' care plans
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
