Job Overview

We are a small, independent SEMH school in Shelton, Staffordshire, offering a supportive environment for secondary-age students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in science or mathematics, ensuring progression in students' learning and developing their literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to ensure students achieve their full potential in science or mathematics.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual students' needs and learning styles.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic progress.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with students with SEND and a deep commitment to helping them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Expertise in Science or Mathematics, with a strong understanding of how to make these subjects accessible and engaging for secondary-age students.
  • The ability to create and maintain a safe and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic progress.

Salary Information:

£26,209 - £41,773 per annum.
