Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Haywards Heath. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, aged 4-11.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities
  • Provide individualized support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Assist with classroom management, including minor first aid and pastoral care
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers to monitor student progress
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English
  • An enhanced child DBS (which we can assist with, if already not held)
  • Behaviour management skills and classroom management skills
  • Patience and ability to support pupils with their learning
