Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant at Majestic Wine Havant. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Maximise sales opportunities and support the team in meeting and exceeding targets through focused KPI delivery.
- Deliver market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Offer a VIP concierge service to customers, actively contacting them with updates on products and tastings.
- Sell the story behind our products, demonstrating and sharing your passion for wine with customers.
- Take ownership of your wine knowledge, constantly learning about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
- Take pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operational running of the store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store and implement solutions with your team.
- Ensure compliance, safety, and legality by following internal policies and completing mandatory training.
- Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for junior team members, feeding back to your Store Manager as appropriate.
- Excellent time-management, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every customer.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
- A can-do attitude with a passion for seeing problems through to solutions.
- Adaptable and resilient to meet the ever-changing demands of our business.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Wine knowledge is beneficial, but a passion to learn more is essential to pass level 2 WSET wine qualifications.
- Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
