Patent Paralegal Job Description

Role Overview

This position plays a crucial role in the effective functioning of our Intellectual Property team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of patent portfolios, ensuring seamless collaboration with clients and patent attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patent searches and perform due diligence to identify potential patent infringement.
• Prepare and file patent applications, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
• Assist in patent prosecution and litigation, providing administrative support to the team as needed.
• Coordinate with patent attorneys and clients to ensure compliance with patent laws and regulations.
• Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and files.

Requirements

• Proficiency in patent management systems, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong understanding of patent laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, ensuring the highest standards of work are maintained.
