Senior Strategic Planning Professional

At BNY Mellon, we're seeking a skilled Senior Strategic Planning Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement through strategic planning.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work across teams, identifying, documenting, and implementing potential solutions for complex business initiatives. You'll analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations to drive business performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them.
  • Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information with recommendations devised from both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act.
  • Establish trust-based relationships with internal teams to better serve our goals.
  • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior stakeholders, in a structured manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree: advanced graduate degree or equivalent with a number of years total work experience preferred; requirements may vary based on experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and create an inclusive environment across all levels of an organization.
  • Capability to drive an independent workstream within a broader project across a matrixed environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations.
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and scrutiny.
  • Resilient, able to pivot in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and translate complex ideas into simple messages for executive-level audiences.
