About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team in Coleshill/Birmingham. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing business operations, delegating tasks to team members, and resolving problems that occur on their shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach all team members daily in processes and procedures.
  • Maintain and monitor safe working practices and adhere to the safe working methods and countermeasures implemented.
  • Maintain standard work and quality processes to ensure a 'right first time' product to the customer.
  • Drive a zero-tolerance mindset for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Understand throughput rate to support customer requirements.
  • Operate visual delivery tracking systems in order that commodity status can be seen at a glance.
  • Reporting of all throughput, improvement, and people requirements within given time parameters.
  • Support the Health and Safety team in investigations.
  • Ensure all MHE Drivers comply with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience in leading a large team.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good IT knowledge - Excel, Word, etc.
  • Job experience in a Tier 1 operation is beneficial (JIT, Sequencing, Packing, Delivery).
  • Able to work in a diverse group of people and be a team player.
