An experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist is sought after by a leading Facilities Management company based in Yeovil and its surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, holding relevant qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team at various retail sites in the region, undertaking a range of building maintenance duties. The primary purpose of this role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.

  • Support other technicians with major or minor maintenance work.
  • Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork.
  • Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
  • Ensure tools and equipment necessary for minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
  • Although aligned to an area for PPM completion, there may be instances where the technician will need to attend other sites within the cluster to perform work.
  • Work collaboratively with company and client colleagues to ensure adherence to laid-down standards of quality.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times, fostering good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Carry out tasks in accordance with specific KPIs.
  • Accurately monitor and update the Mercury system, ensuring live job updates from yourself and your team at all times.
Key Qualifications and Benefits

The successful candidate will possess:

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations/maintenance, or recognised equivalent.
  • 18th Edition qualification.
