Customs Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Customs Manager to join our team at Red Recruit, a leading recruitment agency specializing in freight and shipping. As a Customs Manager, you will be responsible for mentoring and motivating a team of customs clearance staff, optimizing the efficiency and performance of the business, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and motivate the customs clearance team to achieve high performance and efficiency
  • Optimize business operations to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Manage profit and loss, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Solve problems and identify opportunities for business growth and development
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of the business
  • Manage key accounts and develop business relationships
  • Generate and calculate quotations for clients
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Manage facilities and resources to support business operations
  • Attend regular meetings with the operations, sales, and management teams
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in customs clearance and management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • IT proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic and ability to remain calm under pressure
