Job Overview: Pulse Healthcare is currently seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Planning Professional for a 6-month locum position at one of our locations in Central London.

Salary: £36 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement radiation treatment plans using the Eclipse system.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and the healthcare team to optimize patient treatment plans.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on treatment plans and equipment.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior professionals.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiation therapy techniques.
  • Attend departmental meetings, case reviews, and education programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry, Radiation Therapy, or a related field.
  • Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical dosimetry experience.
  • Proficiency in the Eclipse system.
  • Experience in planning for prostate, breast, SRS, and SABR treatments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time locum position with standard working hours.
  • Potential for occasional evening or weekend shifts.
