We are seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide reception services to guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Assist with and complete audits as required.
- Respond to guest queries in a timely and efficient manner, achieving positive outcomes.
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in and check-out, and complete audit procedures as required.
- Communicate effectively with the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors, sharing relevant feedback from guests and other departments.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.
- Attend training courses as required and participate in the Day/Night Team's training and development efforts.
- Develop a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties.
- Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
- Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front-of-house equipment and property management systems.
- Follow company brand standards.
- Assist other departments as necessary.
