Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be delivering high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes within the Essex catchment area.
This role will involve conducting blood tests, toxicity assessments, administering IV/Oral chemotherapy, and providing care for patients with various medical conditions. You will work independently in the community but remain part of a wider nursing team, enjoying regular contact with managers and colleagues. You will have the opportunity to stay at the forefront of your profession, gaining exposure to new technologies and therapies, and contributing to the development of innovative care models.
The ideal candidate will have:
- RGN with active NMC PIN
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience of community-based work is desirable but not essential
- Experience within the acute setting and competent in the administration of chemotherapy, cytotoxic drugs, cannulation, and clinical assessments
- SACT Passport desirable but not essential
Benefits
- Salary up to £43,000 per annum
- Fully expensed company car and fuel card or car allowance of £4,877.50 per annum plus mileage
- NMC fee reimbursement
