Job Title: Industrial Placement Finance

BAE Systems offers a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, allowing employees to balance their work and personal life. As an Industrial Placement Finance professional, you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Your line manager will outline the hybrid working arrangements, including which days you are required to work on site or remotely.

On an Undergraduate Placement, over 12 months, you will be expected to be involved in a number of areas in order to develop a broad understanding of the Finance Services we are involved with. Finance underpins everything we do – so it's vital that we find and nurture our future talent now. Whilst on placement, you will gain experience in one or more areas including:

* Financial accounting and reporting, including variance analysis, preparation of packs for submission, and consolidation of month-end inputs.
* Management accounting, including the raising of invoices, preparation of reconciliations, and production of other financial data for key stakeholders.
* Project accounting, including the opportunity to shadow senior members of the team to develop an understanding of the role of a finance leader within the function.
