About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Analyst to join our team in Nationwide, responsible for leading the development of transaction monitoring controls for business and non-retail customers.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in AML transaction monitoring and lead a new team within the FC Analytics area.

The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and be able to drive the completion of the Transaction Monitoring Non-Retail Risk Assessment.

You will be working closely with 2nd line colleagues and networking with key contacts across the business to ensure robust transaction monitoring controls are in place.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About You

  • Experience working in AML transaction monitoring
  • Strong understanding of financial crime risks associated with business and non-retail customers/accounts
  • Previous experience leading a team
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge and experience of data structures associated with financial crimes
  • Proven technical/analytical skills in a relevant role
