The successful candidate will have a Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional childcare practice. Your responsibilities will include promoting high standards of quality within the nursery, assuming key carer responsibilities for designated children, and ensuring that all children receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.

As a Nursery Practitioner at Grandir UK, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
  • Assuming key carer responsibilities for designated children.
  • Ensuring that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Preparing and supporting children's activities.
  • In the absence of the Team/Room Leader, maintaining effective day-to-day management of the environment.
  • Contributing to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Supporting and mentoring students and un-qualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
