Job Title: Traffic Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Traffic Supervisor to join our team at Wm. Armstrong (Longtown) Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of deliveries and collections from our Longtown depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate daily deliveries and collections
  • Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Ensure site compliance with health, safety, and security regulations
  • Manage absence and training requirements for the traffic team
  • Collaborate with warehouse and customer services colleagues to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced transport environment
  • Previous experience working within a transport office
  • Good understanding of legal compliance, drivers' hours, and WTDs
  • Knowledge of transport management systems and vehicle telematics
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
