Serco is seeking a skilled Aircraft Engineering Fitter to join our team at RNAS Culdrose, Helston. As a key member of our IMOS Contract team, you will support Aircraft Engineering services in a highly regulated environment.

Essential requirements for the role

  • Minimum of 3 years working in an airworthiness environment, relevant experience for the Merlin aircraft
  • Previous experience and a good working knowledge of the following:
  • Merlin Aircraft Engineering and Aircraft Systems.
  • Merlin Aircraft Servicing and Support Equipment.
  • Lean Operating Procedures.
  • Naval Air Publications and Compound – Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (CIETP).
  • Health and Safety, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations, Tool Control and Quality Practices.
  • An understanding of Engineering and Asset Management Systems.
  • Completed a Maintenance Human Factors Course.
