About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dental Nurse to join our team at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital. As a key member of our Restorative Dentistry department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical dental staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clinical dental staff, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, in the treatment and care of patients.
- Ensure Health and Safety policies are carried out as necessary and assist other dental nurses in fulfilling Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Receive and prepare patients for general, complex, and specialized dental treatment, providing close chairside assistance and anticipating clinicians' requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, demonstrating empathy and reassurance, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing tasks and using initiative when necessary.

Requirements
- Registered Dental Nurse with National Certificate or NVQ level 3 in Oral Healthcare.
- Experience in chairside assisting for all dental procedures and knowledge of 4-handed dentistry.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and use initiative when necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a positive attitude to work.
