Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics Assistant. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Support: Assist the delivery driver in parking and maneuvering a company vehicle, as well as loading and unloading of vehicles as and when required.
  • Customer Service: Provide effective customer service while ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition.
  • Communication: Ensure that customers are kept informed of their estimated time of delivery and any issues are communicated in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Work as a part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises on a multidrop basis.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience of dealing with multi-drop home delivery is preferred but not essential.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical Demands: Willingness to complete manual handling tasks such as pulling, lifting, and pushing.
  • Problem Solving: Can do attitude with a knack for problem solving.
  • Security Clearance: Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check).
